“ The best Korean food I have had. First time I finished all the Kimchi. Spicy bulgogi and pork dumpling soup were delicious. Very friendly owner said to go around and eat a little bit of each at a time to get my palate right. She was spot on. Can't wait to go back! ”
“ Galbiya is located in Springfield -- a small town about halfway between Nashville and Clarksville. It is like a little "outpost" of Korean food and culture. I had the "L.A. Galbi" for lunch. It was delicious and authentic. (I was stationed in Korea for a year, and I took two college semesters of Korean language while there.) It was served with banchan -- a traditional array of vegetable side dishes -- and a bowl of steamed rice. The service was great. The lady was very friendly. If you have time for a little side trip off of I-24, then Galbiya is a worthwhile destination. PS: I forgot to ask the lady for confirmation, but my understanding is that the name Galbiya is translated as "ribs that I love" or "dearest ribs". It lived up to that. The ribs were tender and yummy! ”

“ A post from someone else describing this restaurant as "a hidden gem" got me to try this restaurant. It truly is a hidden gem for delicious Korean food and friendly service. The mixed seafood pancake was fantastic and cooked perfectly (crunchy on the outside, and soft on the inside. The beef bulgogi and the spicy chicken bibimbap were also delicious. I will definitely be a returning customer and recommending this restaurant to others. And now adding to my original review: I went back later in the week for dinner so that my wife could try it. Delicious again! The spare ribs may be the best I have ever had--which explains why they are listed as number 1 on the menu. The kimchee boekkum was the perfect blend of spice and slight sourness. And the owners--so friendly. ”
“ Oh. My. Goodness. Fresh! Refreshing. I got the Bimbimbap with chicken. I literally pulled into sonic and was going to just get 3 chick strips and thought, "I just don't want this!" We usually eat fresh things, like stir-fry at home! So, this restaurant was perfect!! I said to the server, "no spice..just anything with chicken & veggies." She brought the Bimbimbap out, mixed it before me, and explained the ingredients and the flavors of the side dishes. For me personally, it tasted amazing and was exactly what I was looking for! So glad I'm not dragged down or having cramps from junky food. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I will be back many times! ”
